Jaymee Boughton 1

Jaymee has been married for 17 years, been blessed with 4 daughters, 2 son and midwifery has been a large part of her life for over 11 years. With each child, she experienced very different pregnancies and births.

Her personal deliveries include both hospital and out-of-hospital birth, an epidural, unmedicated births,  water birth and two cesarean sections. Shortly after Jaymee delivered her 3rd child, she pursued midwifery training through the Association of Texas Midwives’ Midwifery Program.  She proceeded to pass the NARM and worked as a staff midwife at a local Houston area birth center until 2o12.

Jaymee has always held a strong belief that pregnancy and birth are normal life events. Working with women and their families from early pregnancy until 6 weeks postpartum has confirmed for her that the childbearing journey is a spiritual, physical and emotional experience. When women feel informed, respected, supported and safe, they are capable of creating for themselves the experiences and outcomes they had only previously hoped for.

Jaymee’s Testimonials

As soon as Jaymee answered her phone, I knew IMMEDIATELY that I was going to put all my fears away and do a home birth. She was so soft spoken, patient, informative, knowledgeable it's ridiculous. I felt so empowered after I talked to her. It was the most satisfying and fulfilling moment in my life having such a blessing of a midwife by my side the entire way. The peace and serenity she brings to the birthing experience is one ALL moms should witness. Please, take my advice...call Jaymee, set up a consultation visit, and bring another beautiful life into this world. You won't regret it!

We interviewed several midwives in the area before choosing Jaymee and she was very attentive throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. She is big on teaching and I learned more about myself and baby during this pregnancy than I did the first time around through my Dr. For future pregnancies, Lord willing, she will be our midwife and close friend for life.

Jaymee was with us every step of the way during my pregnancy. Listened to every concern I had, encouraged when I needed it. She became more than a midwife, she became a trusted and close friend. I did not get my homebirth I wanted but Jaymee was still at the hospital while I was laboring and came after to check in. I could not have asked for a better experience.
